St. Peter's Unique Selling Point
At our school, our unique strength lies in being adaptive and focused on every pupil’s experience, underpinned by a consistent and inclusive whole-school approach. Strategically, we deliver a cohesive curriculum supported by tools like Knowledge Organisers, Seesaw, and Assessment Keys, with consistent routines such as whole-school assemblies, mixed playtimes, and initiatives like the St Peter’s Award.
For each cohort, we tailor our teaching to meet specific class needs through flexible use of ICT, collaborative learning, and opportunities such as trips, councils, and residentials.
At the group level, targeted interventions like Little Wandle Catch-Up, learning clubs, and effective Teaching Assistant deployment ensure that every child receives the support they need, while enrichment through after-school clubs and competitions further develops skills and confidence.
On an individual level, we personalise learning through IEPs, EHCPs, and inclusive practices for SEND, EAL, and PP pupils, supported by staff CPD, use of external agencies, and participation in events like Neurodiversity Celebration Week and Disability Awareness Day.
This layered, responsive approach ensures that every child is seen, supported, and celebrated.
