Y5 Anglo Saxon Trip
Year 5 visited Weaver Hall and Museum on Monday 3rd December as part of their Anglo-Saxon and Vikings topic. Here, they took part in an archaeology workshop where they excavated the burial of a warrior found in Helsby and worked out what the artefacts told us about Viking culture.
They also made clay figurines and re-enacted a battle.
