Christmas
As usual Christmas was a fun-filled, busy time at St. Peter's with lots of different events taking place. We started our celebrations with our Advent Mass on Friday December 1st where the youngest and oldest child in the school lit the first Advent candle.
Recpetion and Year 6 Special Friends helped to decorate the school Christmas Tree while listening to Christmas music. It was a really special morning.
KS1 performed their version of the nativity called 'Superstar' which really made everyone think of the true meaning of Christmas.
The kitchen provided a Christmas dinner, which everyone enjoyed, and everyone even got a Christmas Cracker!
KS1 and Foundation Stage read the Gingerbread Man and then had the opportunity to decorate Gingerbread Men with Jo from Tesco.
KS1 visited the Reindeer Farm and Father Christmas, which was a very exciting morning, and also had their Christmas party, where the Big Man himslef visited!
KS2 watched Paddington 2 at the cinema and had their famous 'Twelve Days of Christmas' quiz, which as usual, was a very lively afair!
We topped the Christmas season off with our annual Christmas assembly where of course, the parents were encourage to get involved too!
We all had a fantastic festive season and now can't wait for the day itself.
